Is my data stored securely?

Yes. All your bill data (names, amounts, due dates, categories, reminders) is stored locally on your device only. We do not upload, sync, or transmit your data to any servers. No account is required to use the app.

Does Billmio work offline?

Yes. Billmio works fully offline. Your data stays on your device, and reminders are generated locally. You don’t need an internet connection to use the app.

How do I backup my data?

Backup & Restore is a Pro feature. If you have Billmio Pro, open the menu (☰) → Backup & Restore → Create backup file. The backup is saved as a JSON file wherever you choose (e.g., Downloads, Google Drive). To restore, use “Restore from backup” and select your backup file.

What’s included in Billmio Pro?

Pro unlocks: unlimited bills, multiple reminders per day, “remind until paid” or “remind for N days after due date,” custom categories, backup & restore, and no ads. It’s a one-time purchase of $2.99—no subscription.

Why aren’t my reminders showing?

Make sure notification permission is enabled. Open the menu (☰) → Ask notification permission, and allow notifications when prompted. Also check that your device’s battery optimization or Do Not Disturb settings aren’t blocking the app.

What languages does Billmio support?

Billmio supports English, Spanish, and French. Dates and number formats are localized based on your device settings.

Can I use Billmio on multiple devices?

You can install Billmio on multiple devices, but data does not sync between them. Each device has its own local data. Pro users can use Backup & Restore to move data between devices manually.

What happens if I uninstall the app?

All your data will be deleted. If you have Pro and use backup, export a backup before uninstalling. After reinstalling, you can restore from that backup. Your Pro purchase is tied to your Google account—you can restore it on the same account without paying again.

How do I get a refund for Billmio Pro?

Refunds are handled by Google Play. Open the Play Store → Account → Order history, find your Billmio Pro purchase, and request a refund. Google typically allows refunds within 48 hours to 2 weeks. See our Refund Policy for details.
